The Air Flow Sensor is a compact transmitter designed for HVAC & Laminar Air Flow Units to measure the Air Velocity & Air Flow Rate measurement applications. Due to the small design, the module can be fitted to nearly every application & is the perfect Duct Mounted Air Flow Sensor. The use of a high-quality thin film sensor element based on the hot film anemometer principle ensures optimal precision and maximum sensitivity.
- The innovative design makes the Air Flow sensor elements less sensitive to dust and other pollution than conventional hot wire anemometers. This is reflected in the excellent reproducibility and proven long-term stability of the measuring results.
- The Air Flow Transmitter can be mounted fast and easily. The alignment strip along the probe’s tube and the matching mounting flange determine the orientation of the sensor probe. The mounting flange allows for an infinitely variation of the depth of the sensor probe. The electronics integrated in the probe tube provide a linear analogue signal of 0-5 V or 0-10 V for the velocity range 0...5 m/s (0...1000 ft/min) / 0...10 m/s (0...2000 ft/min) or 0...20 m/s (0...4000 ft/min).
- Digital Display instruments are available for a range of air flow applications including HVAC, Hepa Filters, Duct monitors for various Air Flow Ranges. Display instruments are typically panel mounting type/flush mounting type instruments with digital readout & provision of relay output & buzzer alarm output in case of process violation.
