These elements are connected directly to the output spindle assembly that is constrained in low-friction bearings. This configuration allows backlash-free operation of the linear actuator, industry-leading 10-nanometer resolution, excellent repeatability, in-position stability of the linear actuator, and positioning speed exceeding 250 mm per second.
