We are offering Low Pressure Refrigerated Type Air Dryer with healed desiccant air dryer. In this dryer Wet Air from the low pressure Root Blower having temperature of 100°C entering to a After Cooler (water cooled shell and Tube Type) and drops the air temperature to 40°C. Further this cooled air passes through a Refrigeration system and reduce the temperature to 10°C with 3°C pressures Dew Point. This moisture free air is equivalent to (-) 9°C ADP.
Above moisture free air further enter through a four way valve to the top of the Adsorber Tower which is packed with Molecular Sieve and Activated Alumina. The desiccant has higher surface porosity which enables to hold large quantity of moisture. Dry moisture free air from the bottom of adsorber enters the After Filter, which prevent the desiccant dust carry over on the user point. This dry air will have the Atmospheric Dew Point of (-) 50°C to (-) 70°C.
During the change over of cycle hot air of 100°C comes out from the Root Blower, further passes through the Booster Heater and heat the air further to required regeneration temperature of 180°C to 220°C depending upon the required regeneration temperature of the desiccant. The change over of the Tower is compiled by a linkage mechanism connects the two four ways valves and double acting cylinder actuates the linkage or by an Actuator.
Further this hot air, after Regeneration Passes through a suitable After Cooler and then the cycle continues. By this system there will not be any loss of air.
The Refrigerated Type Dryers:
In small Air capacities upto 500 NM3/hr we offer Model-PERD. It's simple and very compact design consisting of a cylindrical heat exchanger with freon tubes. Air flows outside the tubes and gets cooled to 3°C temperature. Moisture condenses out and is drained continuously. The out going air is at 3°C temperature with (+) 3°C Pressure Dew Point which is equivalent to approx (-) 23°C dew point at atmospheric pressure.
For larger Ah capacities, above 500 NM3/hr, we recommend Model -PERDA. It is a skid mounted unit consisting of Air-Freon chiller, Air to Air pre-Cooler and a moisture separator. First air is precooled with outgoing chilled air to around 25°C and then it is cooled in a freon cooler to {+) 3°C temperature. This reduces refrigeration load of the Unit. Outgoing dry air has (+) 3°C Pressure Dew Point and comes out at around 25°C temperature. (+) 3°C Dew Point in Refrigerated Air Dryers corresponds to around (-) 23°C Atmospheric Pressure Dew Point. Still lower Dew Point ls not possible from Refrigerated Dryer as moisture condensed would start freezing on freon tubes if lower dew points are tried.
