The Company also markets and distributes Afluria Influenza Virus Vaccine. Ophthalmic Drugs For over 35 years Akorn has been a leader in Ophthalmic pharmaceutical products. With a product line of Ophthalmic Diagnostic, Therapeutic, and Over-the Counter products, Akorn markets established brands like IC-Green, AK-Fluor, Paremyd, Hydase , Fluress, Ful-Glo, and Gentak. In 2008, Akorn anticipates launching Akten, our first internally developed NDA product. Hospital Drugs and Injectables Akorn also markets a product line for the hospital market. Akorn intends to expand our drug hospital product line and continue to focus on product development for this important segment of pharmaceuticals.
