We carry two types of Bainbridge mat board, including Bainbridge 8-Ply Alpharag and Bainbridge Alphamat. The 1/16th inch Bainbridge Alphamat is a museum-quality, pre cut mat board that meets the most stringent standards of stability and performance. The Bainbridge 8-Ply Alpharag mat board is twice as thick, at 1/8th of an inch, and provides the same protection as well as superior rigidity and strength. If you need a more basic matboard, we recommend looking at our Papermat mat board, which is perfect for non-conservation applications, like decorative picture frames, posters or decorative art.
