Al Anwar Ceramic Tiles Co. the first and only tile manufacturer in the Sultanate of Oman. Established in 1998, the ?Al Shams? plant was set up at Nizwa with machinery and technical collaboration from leading Italian companies. The plant uses locally available raw materials, with frits, glazes and pigments imported from leading manufacturers in Italy and Spain.

The Al Shams range consists of glazed wall and floor tiles in a variety of designs and shades to suit every d?cor. A fully equipped third firing plant manufactures floor and wall border tiles as well. The tiles are manufactured to international standards, with designs sourced from leading Italian firms.

In the short span of time since its inception, Al Anwar Ceramic Tiles Co. has established a reputation for efficiency and productivity. ?Al Shams? is today the largest selling ceramic tile in Oman. The Company has become a significant player in the Gulf Region and has been chosen for several prestigious projects in the UAE and Saudi Arabia. • Wall Tiles are in accordance with B.S 6431: Part9: 1984/EN 159: 1991, dust pressed Ceramic Tile/Group B III and
• Floor Tiles are in accordance with B.S 6431: Part 8: 1984/EN 178:1991, dust pressed Ceramic Tile/Group B II b.
