COMPANY PROFILE

Allied Metal Recyclers established in 2003, although a relatively new company, has in excess of 70 years experience in the scrap metal industry. When Allied first started there were 10 employees with two trucks we now have 28 employees 4 new bin trucks 2 new hiab flat tops two small utility trucks and two yards one in Welshpool and one in Rockingham. We have in excess of 700 scrap bins throughout W. A. covering areas from Karratha down to Esperance we are one of the largest exporters of non ferrous scrap to China from W. A. as well as processing in excess of 300 Tons of scrap steel per week. Allied metal recyclers are proud to be associated with AMEC and hope to create a close working relationship with others members we believe that our experience in the scrap industry will be beneficial to all AMEC members in identifying their particular recycling requirements. Allied believes that as responsible corporate member we have an obligation to help others less fortunate and as such in conjunction with AMEC we will contribute to a nominated charity . Allied has also taken steps to reduce the company's carbon footprint and as such we have become a member of Carbon Neutral a not for profit organization dedicated to planting trees in W. A./S. A. to help reduce carbon emissions we believe we are the first company of this type in W. A. to be involved in this worldwide problem.
