These specialty compounds are produced by compounding base polymers with electrically conductive fibers, fillers such as carbon fiber, carbon powder, steel fiber and carbon nanotube.
The conductivity of the compounds are typically in the range of the surface resistivity from 100 ohms/ sq to 10e12 ohms / sq. Compounds with permanent anti-static additives that are humidity independent and non-migratory are colorable and have surface resistivity in the range of 10e9 ~ 10e12 ohms /sq.
