Derived from the down the nearest of the Tibetan goatskin that lives in the Himalayan highlands. An adult goat lets grow about 100 g of pashmina a year and one 90 x 200 cm shawl weighs around 270 g. The pashmina shawls are completely handmade by skilled craftsmen of Nepal who weave them by ancestral methods. By adding the Chinese silk, they have been abble to give the silky touch and the renowned charm to these shawls. Traditionally the silk pashmina shawls were used by the women of indian upper-class societies. Recently, it has attracted the whole world by its fineness, its extreme softness and its lightness.
