Ardo has been “preserving the precious gifts of nature”
– the company motto – for more than 40 years.

Year after year, harvest after harvest, Ardo supplies its continuously growing markets around the world with high quality frozen vegetables, fruit, pasta & rice.   Ardo, a family owned company,  began its activities in the world of vegetables in the 1950s, growing and trading vegetables at the family farm near the village of Ardooie in Belgium. The village gave the new company its name, and the farm provided the site for Ardo’s first vegetable freezing factory, built in 1977.

Over the following years, Ardo developed its production and sales of frozen vegetables throughout Europe;
today Ardo has 14 production packing units in 8 European countries. Each year the group grows, freezes
and sells 520,000 tonnes of fruit, vegetables, pasta and rice to 54 countries, with a turnover of 556mio euro.
From the far north to the deep south, the name of Ardo is synonymous with exceptional quality and service.    Ardo’s goal  is maximum customer satisfaction. For this reason, Ardo's philosophy from the start has been
to sell directly to the customer. In every country in which Ardo is active, there are sales offices run by our own
commercial employees.   The Ardo product range offers a wide variety of frozen vegetables, vegetable mixes, vegetable preparations
and fruit. Continuous innovation in developing products and production methods hand in hand with the customer
ensures a fruitful association.

In order to reach this goal, we apply integrated production methods and quality monitoring with great respect for nature and the environment. We control the entire production chain, from the selection of seed to packing and distribution. This expertise and our flexible structure enable us to anticipate new trends and needs by bringing out innovative products.   Our objective is to provide our customers with products that meet the highest safety and quality standards.
