Established in 1890, Atalay is the first and the longest established company in the Turkish Industrial Kitchen sector.
In the first years of its establishment, the company manufactured such as large trays, caldrons, saucepans, etc. that are made of copper and that we use as antique decorative accessories in our homes today. When the aluminum became popular in the 70s, the company manufactured products such as toys, saucepans, lunch boxes etc. made of this metal and the company atained the natiional identity by selling its products throught Turkey.
Furthermore in the same years, Atalay met 90% of the Turkish Army,s requirements such as kitchen equipment and flasks, etc. Moreover, the company also manufactured special high capacity "raki" cauldrons for the Monopoly, "Tekel".
