Dioctyl Adipate (DOA) is a typical, cold-resistant plasticizer for polyvinyl chloride, chloroethylene copolymer, nitrocellulose, ethyl cellulose and synthetic rubber. Its plasticizing rate is high and its color changes a little at high temperature. The product made with it has good softness at low temperature. When processed it shows its good lubricity. The soft feeling of products is better. Its application is often in combination with main plasticizers such as DOP, DBP, DINP, TOTM etc. for making cold-resistant plastic thin film, packing membrane for freezing food, cable coating and water pipes in the open air etc. Compounds made with it have low viscosity at the beginning and a good stability of viscosity.
