Resistance Soic Current Sensor

Resistance Soic Current Sensor

Based on the acclaimed ACS712 and ACS710, the ACS711 is the newest member in the continuously advancing current sensors portfolio of Allegro Microsystems. Rated at 100V working voltage (AC peak or DC continuous) and housed in an SOIC8 package, the ACS711 offers a more cost-effective solution to lower voltage applications, at an industry leading small footprint. Designed for a wide range of applications, going from low side shunt replacement on motor and pump control systems, over high side sensing in audio power amplifiers to power supply monitoring, this current sensor offers a high degree of integration. Basically anywhere opamps and/or shunts become a costly and space consuming current sensing solution, the ACS711 provides a very good solution. Since no magnetics are involved, there is no hysteresis to contend with, and an integrated electrostatic shield increases immunity and output stability. Last but not least, all parts are factory trimmed for accuracy.
