Weathercoat Longlife exterior emulsion paint is formulated with special grade elastomeric emulsions, light fast pigments, unique additives like anti-fungal, anti-foaming, anti-flaking, anti-fading, etc. It has unique additives like organo silicone which impacts visible water revellence. It has the elongation capacity to the tune of 250% of its original size. Therefore it enables the paint to bridge hairline cracks.
USP :High sheen, withstands extreme weather conditions, resist fungal growth, high protection against alkali and UV degradation.The film is elastic in naturelt is stretchable.
Surface preparation and painting procedure : Select the correct surface for painting, Sand the surface with sandpaper (80/100) thoroughly. Wash it with clean potable water by coir brush. Apply 1 or 2 coats of Berger Paints Bio-wash solution (5% v/v) by brush, Allow it to dry overnight Wash primer ( 1 : 1 ) or 1-2 coats of Weathercoat Exterior Primer giving 4/5 hrs interval between the coats. Dilute the top coat Weathercoat LL with potable water by 25-30% (v/v) and strain through clean cloth and apply 2 to 3 coats either by brush or felt roller giving 4 hrs interval between the coats. The top coat can be applied by spray also. Maintain 40-45 psi while spraying and keep 12"-14" distance between the gun nozzle and the surface. For spraying it must be diluted to get 35"•40" viscosity by ford cup B4.
Drying Time: SD 25-30 minutes depending on weather conditions. I HD 4-6 hrs.
Recommended Dilution: 60-65% (v/v) depending on surface conditions.
Gloss level : 1-5 at 60 deg GH on a glass plate when released at 300 micron Lift applied by box caster.
Flash point :100% water base paint, hence NR.
