Proximal Femoral Nail is specially designed for use in fractures in the trochanter and femoral
neck region. It is suitable for pertrochanteric fractures, high subtrochanteric fractures and
intertrochanteric fractures.
Features:

  • Flexible distal nail end
  • Minimizes stress concentration
  • Enable unreamed insertion
  • Self tapping hip pin for true rotational stability

  • Anatomical 6° ML angle
  • Distal diameters: 9, 10, 11 and 12 mm
  • Proximal diameter: 15.0 mm
  • Self tapping femoral neck screw: Ø 9.0 mm
  • Length: 240mm (short) and 300mm to 420mm (long)
  • Nail diameter: 10.0mm to 12.0mm (short) & 10.0mm (long)
  • Distal locking bolt: Ø 4.9 mm
  • Available in: 125, 130, 135 degrees
  • Materials: titanium alloy (as per ISO 5832-3) and stainless steel AISI 316 L.
  • Fixation with: 9.2mm femoral neck screws; 6.3mm and 4.9 mm self tapping locking
