Is It Good to Exaggerate The Size of Business

How different the business may be but almost every entrepreneur share few common characteristics. One of them is 'to exaggerate the size of business.'

Normally businessman try to portray their company oversize in a manner to impress clients. But, this is not considered a good practice. As per business experts, this is the commonest error which a startup business owner makes.

It is commonly seen that companies which are handled by smaller work force show a larger employee strength. This is never a good deed, however, your small lie would not harm anyone but this may hamper your entire image once the truth is revealed.

Another no-no in segment of small biz is you must not include big names in your client list unless you have not actually worked for the company. There are incidents when you would find people mentioning HP, Dell, Google and other big names in the client list detail but when searched finely, it is found that these companies are nowhere the clients. However, employees or retailers of the company have taken the service. Don't mention any name on your catalog till the moment it's not genuinely put.

Don't blabber about the experience you have got – Being pretentious and talking more than required is a trend that is in small business promotion segment. This also goes in experiment section. People tend to increase the year of experiment while briefing about their company. Well, there is no harm in being skilled fresher.
