7 Small Business Teleconference Tips

1. Check the conferencing equipment well in advance – To avoid any unpleasant surprises on the day of the conference, you must thoroughly test all the equipment. An even better idea is to have a dry run of the event. In any case, you should have a back up plan for things going awry despite meticulous preparation.

2. Distribute the copies of the agenda to all participants – You need to give the participants enough time to mull over the topics for discussion, so that they come well-prepared for the virtual meeting. Experts often recommend distributing relevant materials as early as three days in advance.
