We are looking for rake type sub merged ash conveyor for our reputed project as per details given below & our guide line drg. no. b 3751 (g. a. of submerged ash conveyor) showing tentative arrangement required. steam generation : 70,000 kg/hr mcr. 77,000 kg/hr peak. fuel consumed. : 33,350 kg/hr mcr. 36,670 kg/hr peak. ash generated @2.5% : 835 kg/hr mcr. 917 kg/hr peak. assuming 70% of ash goes to main ash hopper. hopper loading of ash : 584.5 kg/hr mcr. 642.0 kg/hr peak. putting 20% design margin on ash ash to be handled in conveyor = 1.2 x 642 = 770.4 kg/hr. i. e. say 800 kg/hr sub merged ash conveyor should be rake type conveyor suitable for handling 800 kg/hr of ash. ash discharge opening size = 500 mm wide. (refer drawing no. b 3751) 5000 mm long (on conveyor width and length side) ash to be discharged in to the tractor trolley to be placed as shown in g. a. drawing of sub merged ash conveyor system. (refer drawing no. b 3751) effective trough width suggested = 1,000 mm suggested rake size = 950 mm width x 300 mm height. chain pitch recommended = 150 mm (6???) rake pitch suggested = 450 mm chain type = roller chain. conveyor speed not greater than 5 mtrs/minute. bulk density of ash : 150 kg/m3 approx. motor speed : 1440 rpm gear box reduction ration : 1 : 150 (suggested) output speed : around 9.6 rpm. > submerged ash conveyor should be provided with water inlet connection with isolation valve, drain connection.
