Calders scanner is a Linotype-Hell Topaz II A3 Plus. It uses the Kodak trilinear colour CCD with 8000 pixels and an optical resolution up to 5080 dpi, scaling up to 2500% and a maximum resolvable density of 4.0 D. The Topaz scans all types of transparency and reflective originals - colour, black/white, line art, positive or negative. It will descreen preprinted originals without significant loss of detail and has auto-focusing to a maximum depth of 20 mm, ideal for mounted photographs, artwork and 3D objects.
