VEHICLE RESTRAIN SAFETY WEDGE AND TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT
FEATURES
Heavy duty type, with rudder and positioning wheels
Capacity, in compression kg 6.500
Construction heavy duty rigid plastic component sandwich side covered with 8 mm thick zinced steel plates, blocked by passing through ties
5 meters chain for fixing to the building
USE
The wedge is put under a vehicle wheel, as to impeach its moving, that increase the safety-on-work.
Simple version: wedge with chain for fixing to the building. Its function is of blocking a wheel of the vehicle.
Traffic management version: the wedge has a status transmitter. When the wedge is put against a vehicle wheel, it sends a pulse that is received from the “traffic management device”. The pulse can be used for several scopes: interlocking the sectional overhead door, changing the traffic lights, give the command of inflating an inflatable dock-shelter, allow an automatic start of the loading bay, give a “status of the bay” signal, also at distance (see the traffic management system). The transmitter is fed by two simple AA alkaline batteries, lasting at least 24 months. The lack of battery power is indicated by a LED into its receiver. Each wedge is shipped with its already set receiver, also numbered for that specific wedge. The receiver-transmitter can in all cases be reprogrammed.
SHIPMENT
The wedge can be shipped with detached rudder, for volume saving. Its installation only requires the screwing of two nuts.
