"C" Suspended dock leveller, pre-mounted on a frame leveller to be welded to the rods cast into the cement all around the pit rim. The pit can have the bottom reservation for tail lift, like the shown case (picture a), that requires the heavy reinforcements for sustaining the overhangs.
There is a risk of fractures into the pavement all around the pit, because of the different dilatation of the parts.
the "c" suspended dock leveller is to be installed before the pavement casting, with all risks of dirtying it with aggressive.
with the "c" frame the construction comes in four times: building as per drawing, leveller installation and levelling, welding of the leveller, final pavement laying. In the picture a, the inside, before pavement is laid.
"l" suspended dock leveller. It has an upside-down "l" frame (picture b) that requires a special counter-frame anchored into the pit-rim-construction, as per drawing, onto which the "l" is laid and fixed by welding that remain at sight with doubtful aesthetic. This system had been designed for avoiding the fractures into the pavement that often occur with the "c" suspended levellers.
with the "l" suspended leveller the construction comes in three times: building as per drawing with special frame fixed into the pit-rim, final pavement laying, leveller installation with welding.
the "l" suspended frame is to be installed at the end of all wet-trades, by welding (that remain at sight) to the counter-frame.
the bumpers shall be installed separately, on the building walls at the outside sides of the leveller pit.
deck: anti slip almond steel with robot welded supporting beams.
swivelling lip length: 360 mm standard, totally protruding off the dock rim; 430 mm optional.
telescopic lip length: 500 or 1000 mm.
en 1398 concentrated capacity: standard 6. 000 kg (10. 000 kg uniformly distributed, but not within the scope of the dock leveller), optional 9. 000 kg (15. 000 kg uniformly distributed, but not within the scope of the dock leveller).
finishing: dock leveller painted grey ral 7005 with two components epoxy grounding and two components epoxy final paint, oven dried, after degreasing and phosphating. Swivelling lips yellow-orange ral 2000.
powering and commands:
- electro hydraulic powerpack inside the pit 400 v 50 hz three phased, with push-buttons command;
- wall mount electro hydraulic consolle 230 v 50 hz single phased allowing for an easy, safe, eye level economic servicing, single command or multi function.
swivelling lip leveller use: one-button command, lifting, opening the lip at top height, lowering at button release. Return to rest position: same button lifts and retracts the lip; release the button before maximum height and the leveller returns to rest position.
telescopic lip leveller use: push button for lifting, leveller stops at release. Push button for extending the lip, and leveller lowers at release. Return to rest position by lifting above the dock level, release the button, depress the lip-return button to full in, release the button and the leveller lowers in rest position.
side adjustment: the dock leveller follows up to 3% of its width the side inclination of the vehicle, as poer en 1398.
working steepness: the maximum slope fixed by the en 1398 of 12,5% is a slippery limit. The maximum slope the transport meanings can climb is generally of 8% for fork lift trucks and 4% for the transpallets.
