Mixing tanks have a broad range of types and styles. These vessels range from quite small to vary large. Typically each one is custom designed to match the mixing applications and the material that will be contained in the vessel. Mixing vessels can be open, closed, pressurized or vacuum. They can be jacketed for heating or cooling, too. Many include baffles or have complex designs that incorporate designed mixing and blending. Materials of construction range from carbon steel to stainless steel. Polished or mill finishes are also available.
