The con rod connects the piston with the crankshaft and transforms the straight piston movement into rotational crankshaft movement. The force introduced through the piston creates a torque on the crankshaft.
The high strain on the con rod due to tension, pressure and torsional forces requires connecting-rod designs that are strong at
a low weight. For this reason, the con rods are mainly equipped with an H-profile or a double-T-profile between the small and large connecting-rod eye.
Motor Service has extended its product range by the con rods/crankshaft product group. They are manufactured using the latest production techniques in high-grade KS quality. The range is adapted to market requirements and will be extended successively.
