even though the times have changed many of the processes that we use to produce our stoneware remains the same. Our stoneware is made from local clays and is produced by a 100 year old process called jiggering. Although the items are no longer hand turned on a wheel, the process still requires a good deal of hand work to be done. The resulting products must still be dried, glazed and fired as in the earlier days.
