Semistructural Panels are used to build cover walls and architectural details in interiors. Available in 1” - 2” - 3” with a central structure of expanded polystyrene foam.
SEMISTRUCTURAL WALL panels are used to build cover walls and architectural details in interiors. They cannot be used for slabs. They consist of a tridimensional structure made of highly resistant zinc-coated or polished steel wire, with a creep limit fy of 5,000 kg/cm2, with a central structure of polygonal bars of expanded polystyrene. There is free space on both sides of the panels between the polystyrene and the mesh, allowing for mortar application.
Once the wall panels are installed, they are plastered on both sides with cement-sand mortar prepared on site, with a minimum compression strength f’c of 100 kg/cm2, until achieving the recommended minimum thickness of 1.5 cm and maximum thickness of 2.0 cm, from the mesh outwards.
