Discontinuous decatizing machine suitable for processing and textile of high quality wool, wool blends and knitting woven fabrics; it gives an extraordinary touch and a good dimensional stability to the fabric.
Expressly suitable for:
- Men’s wear
- Lady’s wear / silk
- Coats – overcoats
DSS has one of the highest productivities amongst similar mechines on the market; its performances can also exceed those of continuos decatizers. Actually, in just 19 minutes the machine is able to process up to 500 mt of fabric, corresponding to a continuous processing at a speed of 26mt/min, and obtaining an even better fi nishing compared to continous decatizing.
It is available also in Jumbo version, suitable for loading up to 700 mt of fabric and wich can be processed in 22-23 min only, corresponding to a continuous speed of 31 mt/min.

Regular decatizing effects throughout the whole length of the loaded fabric. Rapid steam penetration.
Internal/external steam injection. Stainless steel decatizing cylinder, Ø 900 mm. with holes and small pipes. Automatic front door of the decatizing chamber. Pressing cylinder. Wrapper aligning device.
Wrapper rolling-up device. Wrapper drying device. Guider. Folding unit with fabric cooling device. Horse back folding device. Modular construction system with touch-screen display to guide and assist the operator during each operation phase. Programmer able to record up to 600 work programs. Driving system with inverter-controlled three-phase motors, as well as independent impulse controls for each device. All raising parameters can be set both during machine standstill and while working. Thanks to an air conditioner installed on the upper section of the electric control box it is possible to keep the temperature constant and to avoid the formation of condensate, thus ensuring a long duration of all electric and electronic components.

Pressure-free fabric ironing. Boosting cylinder to adjust fabric tension before achieving the calendering cylinder (± 10%). Steam box before the calendering cylinder. Spreading device at inlet. Steaming and shrinking are two operations necessary to obtain a normalized fabric.
Fabric tension control at inlet. Boosting cylinder with guide cylinder. Self-aligned conveyor belt. One or two steaming and drying fi elds provided with hood and fumes exhauster. Cooling tank fi tted with exhauster. Variable speed of the outlet cylinder controlled by compensating device.
