Stewart & Stevenson manufactures nitrogen pumping units in fired and non-fired (heat recovery) versions for both onshore and offshore oilfield use.
Heat recovery versions employ a unique method of loading the diesel engine, indirectly providing the heat required to vaporize liquid nitrogen. Standard units are available in 90K and 360K SCFH versions capable of pumping pressures of 15,000 psi. Stewart & Stevenson manufactures CO2 pumpers and transports.
Fired nitrogen pumping systems use electronic controls and advanced burner technology to efficiently vaporize liquid nitrogen for high rate applications such as nitrified fracturing and industrial plant work. Available from 360K up to 1.2 million SCFH, fired versions can be built on a variety of carrier types as required to meet the needs of the operating environment.
