Crozier Machine Tool.

This woodworking router was specifically designed and built for a company making children's furniture. The machine design utilizes four routing heads and two drill units. The spindle heads are water-cooled, 10 horsepower high frequency motors running at 18,000 RPM. The table measures 4’ x 8’ and is designed for vacuum hold down.

our customer had an existing slow speed and under powered machine with hardinge brothers tooling. our solution was to combine our popular 30dc speed lathe with our bed replacement unit. Utilizing the existing tooling, the customer now has a machine with a 1 hp variable speed motor, air-collet closure and dynamic braking. the air-collet closure now allows the machine to be set up for the feeding of "bar" material quickly and efficiently. This solution saved the customer over half the cost of a new replacement with the same features.
