COMPANY PROFILE

Cummings Enterprises was founded in 1948 to manufacture a product known as the Varigraph. This was an instrument used to produce black and white headlines for graphic artists, sign painters, screen printers, schools, print shops. etc. In the years through the early 1980?s, it was a highly regarded device, receiving acceptance around the world. Because of the replacement of the Varigraph by our modern computers, Cummings Enterprises began a transformation into the company we have today. In 1986 the Advertising Specialties division of our company was formed as we became a distributor to business both locally and nationally. The growth of this division was further developed with the large impact on our industry by corporate clothing programs. As the Advertising Specialties industry has grown to be known as the Promotional Products industry, so has Cummings Enterprises grown to be known as one of the areas largest distributors of quality corporate clothing and promotional items. Throughout the years we have also expanded our engraving capabilities to include plaques, awards and commercial engraving of customers tooling and machining components. Interior signage was a logical addition to our engraving department. With the large commercial expansion in south central Wisconsin, we now supply all types of interior signage to this industry. Another portion of our business is a wholesale division dedicated to novelty items sold to gift stores, souvenir shops, bookstores and department stores across the state of Wisconsin. These items are custom designed products, some of which are licensed products.
