Dan started upholstering in 1979 with El Camino Manufacturing, Palo Alto California. In 1984 Dan decided to open his own business at his residence in San Jose so he could be with his children during the day.

The business remained there until the family moved in September 2000 to Brentwood, Ca. Dan does upholstering for up to 12 Designers in the Bay Area and has had his work featured in Sunset Magazine twice and in a Japanese designer book (At Home with Japanese Design by Jean Mahoney and Peggy Landers Rao).
