Applications: Designed to perform a quick operating test to check on the contact quality of high current DC circuits. Useful for plating plants where large electrodes are hung from high current bus bars. It can be important to know that each electrode is making good contact with the bus bar to ensure that the desired current densities are obtained. The original application was in the manufacture of electrolytic manganese dioxide. Typically the operator will check each contact periodically and the LEDs will give a quick indication of the contact status. Specifications: Input 0 to 200 mV (other ranges on request). Two LED outputs to indicate input voltage which is set up for contacts being tested. Five preset setpoints with user programability for all sepoints. Powered using 2 x 9V batteries. Operating temperature -10°C to 60°C. 24 hour operational burn-in. Banana plug terminals at the top of the instrument. Dimensions 80 x 160 x 40 mm (width x length top to bottom x thickness). Approximate weight 270 g.
