Another thread group used widely in the embroidery industry is the polyester embroidery thread group. This thread type is made from bright, 100% polyester that is manufactured as trilobal-shaped, multi-filament continuous straight filament threads that are assembled and twisted. Polyester embroidery threads are more resistant against dry cleaning, washing and bleaching therefore offering wider applicability. In addition, polyester’s durability, rub resistance and color fastness under dry and wet conditions is better than rayon threads. Accordingly, Poly-Soft threads made from polyester threads offer high color fastness, optimum softness and excellent performance in brightness.
