To achieve radical decrease of the dust level in stone quarries, which is formed while processing the stone (crushing and sorting), we have developed a pressure mist spraying system EKOGLOBAL. To decrease the dust level, we use double-substance jets (water + compressed air). By their suitable location and adjustment of the operation point of the jets (know-how of the company EKOGLOBAL), optimum mist spraying covers the sources of dust and, thereby, reduces the level of dust. The spraying equipment is controlled with an industrial computer, which usually includes sensing the movement of material on the conveyors, automatic discharging of water in case of a temperature drop and other functions.
