In 1967 Edwin Patzer started Empire Office Machines with a desire to provide the best office machines and service to the Helena community. Edwin Patzer and Gene Olsen began business in downtown Helena at 421 North Last Chance Gulch, just down the street from our present location. Since opening our doors in 1967, Empire Office Machines has grown to become the premier office equipment and supplies company in the greater Helena area servicing Lewis and Clark, Jefferson, and Broadwater counties.
