EMSPEC HS17750 is a single phase hookstick operated station class switch. Applications for this switch include disconnecting, isolating, sectionalizing of lines and bypassing electrical equipment such as station circuit-breaker, transformer or other electrical equipment. This switch is installed in hundreds of locations, such as substation, distribution, heavy industries, for 12 years with a proven service record.

This switch may be provided with the following options; high velocity whip, by-pass stud, loadbreak hooks, etc. This switch was designed to perform in severe weather conditions. The HS17750 meets the latest standards of ANSI C-37.32.

Technical features:

- Structural aluminium chassis or galvanized steel, with optional dead-end pull-off brackets.
- Heavy-duty latch spring protected form ice buildup due to the position underneath pad.
- Switch may be mounted in vertical, underhung, inclined, positions.
- Porcelain 3” bolt circle TR type or optional polymeric ( cycloaliphatic) insulators.
- All the current carrying parts are made of hard drawn B187-110 copper. Contacts are made of silver plated copper.
- Silver surface of contacts is mechanically compacted to provide maintenance free wear resistant contact.
- Hardware on live parts is made of non-magnetic material.
- Current transfers at the terminals and main contacts are achieved through multiple spring loaded fingers
