For over a decade, a brazing flux known as FL-7® has been used in the controlled atmosphere aluminum brazing process to produce heat exchangers primarily for automotive thermal management. In 1994, Esprix recognized the importance of introducing FL-7® to the North American auto industry. During an intense period of regulatory review, Esprix worked closely with the U. S. Environmental Protection Agency, allowing the material to be introduced to this market in 1996.
Esprix's attention to the consistency and purity of the chemical composition and crystal formation of FL-7® has allowed our customers to improve the aluminum brazing process.
