This equipment is suitable for research and development program in military footwear quality and comfort. The ageing oven shall be suitable for precision ageing of rubbers and plastics under controlled condition.

The equipment shall be designed to determine the properties of the polymer based material exposed to heat especially in the shoe research laboratory.
The oven shall have good control of temperature, air speed and air exchange rate which is very important for goodrepeatability and reproducibility when doing heat ageing tests of polymer materials. The oven shall have separate system form temperature control and indication with alarm. There shall be at least 3 shelf positions with 2 shelves included. The oven shall include at least 15 sample rod positions and with 10 sample rods. The oven shall have a run-time meter. There shall be a temperature controlled cooling fan for the electronics cabinet. There shall be a temperature indicator with sensor in the inner chamber. The oven shall have adjustable over and under temperature limits with alarm. The oven shall have low air speed and shall be dependent on the exchange rate only, which is specified in the ISO 188 method A. There shall be an indication of power failure.Technical Specifications
