To remove sticking product residue in the pressing space with no problem, the innovative Containment package of the single sided rotary press 1090i and 2090i WiP & Containment uses a manually operated spray gun and a dust suction jet. In addition an integrated RTP (Rapid Transfer Port) serves as a fixture for attaching tools. Six ergonomic glove ports in the window flaps enable reaching into the entire pressing space. The contamination-free material feed is guaranteed by the Glatt-flap system SKS DN 100.
3090i WiP & Containment
The 3090i WiP & Containment presses combine the advantages of the double sided rotary press technology with those of the WiP equipment and the Containment options to one standard solution. Included in this are components such as isolators, WiP-capable peripheral devices as well as charging and product feeding equipment. In addition eight large glove ports on three window flaps make the entire pressing space manually accessible.
The material feed is done with the 3090i WiP & Containment via a flap system, the material container can thus be inserted and removed completely contamination-free. A rotary separator in the isolator is used for transitioning during barrel change times. The times are adjustable via parameters, jamming of the tablets is completely avoided. This innovation for which a patent has been applied for, enables a high process reliability.
