Aggressive, also contaminated fluids, melts and liquefied gases like e.g. H2SO4 at all concentrations, liquid sulphur, PTA, tars and molten salts
Design features
  • Closed impeller
  • Compact double volute casing to balance out radial loadings
  • Shaft column separate from discharge pipe
  • The shaft is supported in anti-friction bearings above the mounting flange and a corrosion resistant sleeve bearing in contact with the medium. At greater submersion depths there are one or more intermediate bearings.
  • Heated and magnetic drive design possible
  • Design with magnetic coupling (GVSOM)

Material Metal
Design Submersible Pumps
Size DN 32 - DN 300
Delivery rate Qmax. = 600 m3/h
Delivery head Hmax. = 80 m
Temperature - 160 °C bis 200 °C
Depth up to 2.000 mm
Aggressive, plus abrasive and corrosive liquids and slurries such as e.g. heavily contaminated sulphur , phosphate mashes, titanium dioxide slurries, copper digestion acids, crude tar, and liquids sensitive to local heating from sleeve bearings
Design features
  • Heavy duty chemical version with double volute casing
  • Closed impeller with front and back vanes
  • Extended shaft bearing arrangement with widely spaced anti-friction bearings
  • No sleeve bearings in the product being pumped, so safe from dry running
  • Shaft column separate from discharge pipe
  • Pressure relieved shaft gland thanks to twin tube design
  • Low speeds of flow reduce corrosion / abrasion
Sealings Shaft sealing with stuffing box or packing ring. The sealing is not in contact with the liquid; rising fluid in shaft pipe runs through overflow holes back into container.
