GB Latexes used in the application of paints and coatings formulations can be categorized into three types: vinyl acetate C acrylic ester copolymers, pure acrylics and styrene acrylics.
Vinyl acetate C acrylic ester copolymer combines the physical and chemical properties of medium particle size, narrow particle size distribution and medium Tg value, which make them exhibit good binding power, outstanding exterior durability, and excellent water and alkali resistance properties.
Pure acrylics polymers are hard polymers which combine the unique physical and chemical properties of small particle size, narrow particle size distribution and high Tg value.
These properties allow them to exhibit excellent performance in paints and coatings such as good wet scrub resistance, superior pigment binding capacity, outstanding exterior durability, dirt pick-up resistance, water and alkali resistance, high gloss and excellent color development.
Styrene acrylics polymers are also hard polymers, the combination of styrene monomer in polymerization makes the polymer exhibit some advantages in application, such as excellent water and alkali resistance, dirt pick-up resistance, high gloss and good wet adhesion.
