The heaters can be mounted end to end horizontally, as well as vertically to accommodate the available space of a process line.
Standard Radround® infrared heater designs are medium wave emitters and use a quartz cylinder combined with a resistive metal heating element. As the quartz cylinder gets hot, it becomes a secondary emitter of infrared energy. Product passing through the infrared heater receives uniform heat from all directions, and any heat not transferred to the product is reabsorbed by the quartz cylinder. That keeps energy consumption low, and energy efficiency high.
