Day 01: DHAKA:
Receive at Dhaka Airport, Transfer to Hotel. If time permit, we will take a brief tour of Dhaka city to give you a good overview of the city of Rickshaws and the different facts of life in Bangladesh. Overnight at Dhaka.
Day 02: DHAKA-COMILLA-DHAKA:
After Breakfast we start drive for oldest capital of Bengal called Sonargaon. It is around one hour drive from Dhaka. After spend Sonargaon one or half hour, we start drive again towards the 2nd world war cemetery in Mainamoti, Comilla. Enjoy magnificent beauty of ruin of ancient (7thto 12th centuries) Old Buddhist Civilization at Mainamoti which includes Shalban Bihara, Itakhola Mura, Lalmai Hill, Mainamoti Museum etc. At evening drive back to Dhaka and stay Overnight at Dhaka.
Day 03: DHAKA-BOGRA:
After breakfast check-out and drive (229 KM/ 6 hrs.) to Bogra (Bogra was the gate way of North Bengal). En-route visit the weaving village of Tangail which is famous worldwide for handloom sari called Tangail sari. After this we visit the Atia Mosque built in 1690 – a blend of pre and imperial Mughal architectures and style. We will pass the 11th world largest Jamuna Multi- Purpose Bridge(4.8km), 5th largest in the world in terms of volumetric discharge. You will be amused to see the modern technology and natural beauty of surrounding area. Check in to hotel for night halt.
Day 04: BOGRA-PAHARPUR-BOGRA:
After breakfast visit the distinctive Mahasthangarh is the most ancient Archaeological site of 4th century BC. Here you can visit some isolated mounds and ruins of both Hindu and Muslim era, then viewing another Bangladesh’s heritage to the world–the UNESCO World Heritage Site of at Paharpur. At this Buddhist Monastery we see the Buddhist Vihara dating back to the 8th century – the largest monastery south of the Himalayas. Its layout perfectly adapted to its religious function, this monastery-city represents a unique artistic achievement. With its simple, harmonious lines and its profusion of carved decoration, it influenced Buddhist architecture as far away as Cambodia. Here you can visit tranquil village to observe the life style of local community where most of the houses made by clay. At evening drive back to hotel for stay overnight.
Day 05: BOGRA-DHAKA:
After Breakfast, Start Drive for Dhaka by Road, on arrival, transfers to Hotel. Free Time, shopping and Night Halt at Dhaka.
Day 06: DHAKA:
After an interesting journey into the heritage sites and the lifestyle of Bangladesh We bid a farewell as well as transfer to the airport for onward destination.
