Tree Grilles - Fully Integrated Grille Systems

The majority of Greenleaf tree grilles are manufactured from ductile cast iron. In addition, we offer an extensive range of fabricated grilles which can be manufactured in mild or stainless steel. Our range of tree grilles can be produced to suit any application. Most of Greenleaf’s tree grilles have been designed to take occasional heavy vehicle overrun.

The Castle design recessed tree grille has been designed for use in intense city/town centre situations and has been extensively load tested to comply with the most stringent vehicle loadings.

The standard paint finish on the ductile cast iron grilles is semi gloss black. This high quality finish is an extremely durable Polyester Powder Coating. Any colour from the RAL or BS range is available as an option. For extra protection on mild steel products zinc priming is standard, followed by a high quality powder coating to any RAL colour.

Well designed grilles enable the tree to receive natural water, prevent surrounding soil from being compacted and add architectural flair to the paved surface.

Designs vary to function under different circumstances. Grille patterns with smaller gaps are chosen where minimum change to the surface is needed. They will retain planting material but allow the free passage of pushchairs, wheelchairs and supermarket trolleys.

Available in a wide range of different sizes, tree grilles can be specified as part of the Arborsystem package, incorporating vertical guard, root management, irrigation and uplighter integration.
