Es war Friedrich Louis Heubach, der die erste Dampfmaschine im Staate Sachsen-Anhalt betrieb, und dem Kaiser Franz Joseph auf der Weltausstellung in Wien 1873 eine Goldmedaille für die außergewöhnliche Qualität seiner Pigmente überreichte. Es war Carl Friedrich Heubach, der dank innovativer Prozeßtechnologien die Produktion seines Osterwiecker Werkes verzehnfachen konnte. Es war mein Vater Hans Joachim Heubach, dessen technologisch orientierte Konzeptionen führende Wissenschaftler wie Franz Munk (Kubelka-Munk-Theorie) anzogen.
