This downlight, with six Luxeon™ Rebel LEDs, is part ‘L’ approved when operated at 350mA. It has a very low profile of 38 mm, making it useful for shallow ceiling recesses and has a 25 degree of angular adjustment making it suitable for a wide range of applications including bars, restaurants, corridors etc.

This new LED downlight is fitted with the Philips Fortimo 1100 lumen LED module. It can be used in place of more traditional low voltage tungsten halogen or compact fluorescent fittings, complies with Part ‘L’ of the UK building regulations and will qualify for loans from the Carbon Trust and has tax advantages through the ECA system. There are a number of options with the Fortimo module all of which are applicable to this fixture namely a food grade and a tuneable white LED module.

This small unit can be operated at either 350 or 700mA and is a very useful fitting providing strong downward light whilst also being an attractive decorative fixture. Use a 10 or 15 degree lens for best downlighting or use without lens for a pure decorative item.
