Rsc-Rscr Wirewound Resistor

Rsc-Rscr Wirewound Resistor

Particularly recommended for severe conditions, such as repeated overloads, shocks and vibrations. RSC resistors consist of a wire or ribbon of resistive alloy wound on a ceramic tube and coated by layers of vitreous enamel, specifically formulated for this purpose. High quality materials together with the adoption of strict manufacturing standards give these resistors characteristics which can be compared to those required by MIL-R-26-E standard. The adjustable RSCR version allows to adjust the resistance value through a sliding collar. Special versions: RSC/P: VOLTAGE DIVIDERS, with one or more plait, eyelet or collar shaped middle taps; resistance and characteristics on Customer request; RSC/N: LOW INDUCTANCE, with Ayrton-Perry winding (RMAX = 1/6 maximum resistance depending on the types). Main features - flame proof - solvent resistant - high power/surface ratio - small changes during ambient tests - ROHS compliant
