USAGE: Screen filters K Series (spin clean) are mainly used for the removal of very fine sand or larger-sized inorganic debris. The water enters through the spin plate creating a vortex along the filtration surface that prevents particles from remaining on the screen. When well water is used for irrigation, K series filter can be used as primary filter or as secondary to a sand separator (hydrocyclone) when heavy sand concentrations should be faced. They are not recommended for the removal of heavy loads of organic matter since screen generally clogs rapidly under such conditions. Semi-automatic filters from 2" up to 4" with a cleaning mechanism consisting of a brush that scrapes the debris from the filtration surface are also available.
AVAILABLE CONNECTIONS: Female threaded (BSP), Flanged (DIN 2576/PN10), Grooved # Other connections upon request
AVAILABLE SCREENS: MS80/219μ, MS120/144μ, MS140/115μ, MS160/94μ, MS180/79μ # Other sizes upon request
Max. operating pressure: 8bar
EQUIPPED WITH: Spin plate, drain valve and 1/4" sockets to connect pressure gauges (manometers)
MAINTENANCE: When the difference in pressure between the inlet and outlet exceeds 0,6bar screen is getting clogged. By opening the flush valve periodically, particles are removed. It is necessary to dismantle periodically the screen filter in order to clean the screen (take out the cartridge and rinse it thoroughly with water under pressure).
