Muntin bars (also called glazing-bars or astragals) are decorative elements, firmly assembled inside the glass unit. Depending on the width, color and shape, they may serve as additional decoration of the window or allude to the style of an old architecture. The execution and placing of the muntin bars requires precise planning. They should be proportional to the window and their shapes and types should harmonize with the style of the building. Muntin bars can be varnished in any color of the RAL palette or coated with the renolit foil, which gives them same color and structure as window frames. Varnished muntin bars come in different widths: 8,18,26,45 mm, while renolit foil-coated muntin bars come in following sizes: 18, 26, 45 mm.
