Jasmine Heirlooms was established in 1987, in Greenville, South Carolina, with the goal of developing new and better tools for the quilting industry. There appeared to be a need and desire for a floor quilting frame which was attractive, compact, and both easy and comfortable to use. The first product to be developed was the Victorian Oak Heirloom Floor Frame, quickly followed by the Classic Maple, the Caddy, the NeedleGlider? and the EasySpinner? and it's variety of hoops. After thirteen years, the founder and owner decided to retire. The owners of The Woodshop on Water Street, a custom furniture manufacturer in Kerrville, Texas, purchased the company in December 2000 and moved the operations to their facility in Texas, where it continues operations today.
