Resins Anion mp is a strong base type ii anion exchange resin. It is supplied in bead form.
Resins Anion mp is based on porous styrene divinylbenzene copolymer matrix. It's basicity is derived by substituted quaternary ammonium groups with a lower base strength than in type i anion exchange resin agrion a-600 mp.
The cross linking in the copolymer matrix achieved through dvb has been controlled to provide high dimensional stability and also excellent attrition resistance. To ensure long life and trouble-free operation, the raw water containing excessive organic matter should be pretreated to reduce the same to low levels.
Agrion a-610 mp can be utilized in the hydroxide form in water treatment plants in the anion exchangers. When exceptionally low conductivity and low silica values are desired,the mixed bed following the agrion a-610 mp anion exchanger, should contain agrion a-600 mp.
Agrion a-610 mp is recommended for use in conjunction with agrion c-100 for water deionisation and similar operations involving reduction of ionic impurities, including silica and carbon dioxide, to low levels.
A degassifier may be used to advantage in between the cation and anion exchangers.
The maximum temperature tolerated by Resins Anion mp during regeneration is 40ºc. Prolonged use at higher water temperatures (60ºc) gradually reduces the strong base capacity of the resin
